John's story

Greetings in our Lord Jesus Christ. May His love, peace and joy be with you all.
Thank you all for your love and kindness, encouraging and inspiring through your words and life testimony.
Praise the Lord, God has been so faithful and we are all doing good here. Kids are working hard with their studies and all kinds of activities. Impressively Jaden’s violin has been improving. Thanks to God that Rachel is able to work here at an American wholesale supermarket.
After serving my previous company for 17 years, thanks to God that He led me to get a new job in Tokyo, working for one of the biggest energy companies in Japan. My calling to serve God in the market place has getting clearer as well. By His grace, I am able to lead a small group of a cross churches ministry this last semester which has deepened my knowledge in the Bible and building up relationships with brothers and sisters, by application of His words. Reading through the Genesis, I am able to get to know more about God’s attributes, His creation, sovereignity, grace, love, forgiveness, justice etc. I learned a lot also from all the great people of God, especially Joseph who has overcome hardship by putting his whole trust on God and how God made him so fruitful who eventually saved his whole family.
“Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh. "For," he said, "God has made me forget all my hardship and all my father's house." The name of the second he called Ephraim, "For God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction."”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭41:51-52‬
God is really a faithful God, I can’t express my gratitude to Jesus for how He led me to my repentance and set me free from my sin, who has brought me from the darkness into the light through His grace and love. Thank God that He has fully healed my hyperthyroidism. He really changed my life where I learned to fully trust Him during my hard time.
Thank you Jesus, I don't worry over the future anymore, For I know what Jesus said.
And today I'll walk beside Him
For He knows what lies ahead
Many things about tomorrow
I don't seem to understand
But I know who holds tomorrow
And I know who holds my hand.
Love in Christ,
John Tan
